About The World Prayer Team

The World Prayer Team is made up of believers around the world. Thousands of praying people at home and in church-based prayer centers will take up the burdens of those who send in their requests, as well as focus prayer on targeted areas.

“Real-time posting” will ensure that prayers are offered immediately, as soon as the need is entered on the website. Confidentiality will be ensured for people who must remain anonymous because of religious or family persecution.

The World Prayer Team facility and website was launched in 2003 at  New Life Church in Colorado Springs and wholeheartedly endorsed by such Christian leaders as Bill Bright, T.D. Jakes, Joni Eareckson Tada, Paul Cedar, Bill McCartney, Chuck Pierce, and Jack Hayford.

The World Prayer Team provides personal, real-time prayer postings, focused worldwide prayer efforts, prayer and worship resources, and other tools to unite the world in prayer.

People interested in serving on the World Prayer Team and those who have prayer needs are encouraged to visit this site, where they will find the information they need to pray for and share their requests with Christ followers around the world.

Membership on this exciting new team is free and open to everyone. As the family of God prays instantly and effectively around the world through the facilitation offered by The World Prayer Team, we are expecting great answers to prayer from our mighty God.

About Modern Day Missions

The World Prayer Team is a ministry of Modern Day Missions. Modern Day’s vision is to help thousands of people, young and old, pursue their dreams of reaching the world for Jesus; one person, one city, and one nation at a time.  Modern Day’s desire is to form partnerships that pave the way for people to serve in another country for both short and long term periods. For the past 12 years, Modern Day has helped missionaries not only get to the mission field but stay there. Today, Modern Day Missions is actively partnering with over 540 missionaries in 60 nations.
